Debuting in 2015 with a very limited group as a Half Century Bike Ride, CHaD HERO Biking is breaking out both a 50 and 25 mile option this year! This is combined group of only 50 CHaD HEROES will be raising much needed funds to support CHaD Kids riding through the pictureseque Upper Connecticut River Valley in near peak foliage season. It just doesn't get much better than that.

All cyclists do agree to a $500 fundraising requirement, but with the support of the dedicated crew at the CHaD HERO HQ, you can meet that goal in no time. Instead of the traditional wicking event t-shirt, riders will receive an event bike jersey.

Event Day
Cyclists will meet and take off from the Norris Cotton Cancer Center entrance at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center campus (DHMC) in Lebanon and will finish their ride at the main event festivities in Hanover.

Jersey Pick-Up
Participants are welcome to pick-up their jersey and food voucher on Saturday, October 21st during general event t-shirt and bib pick-up at Alumni Hall in the Hopkins Center in Downtown Hanover. If not, plan to arrive at DHMC 30 minutes before your scheduled departure to complete the check-in process.

Event parking is located at Lot 20 at DHMC so you can park there in the morning and busses can bring you and your bike back to the parking area at the end of the day. Or you could ride a few more miles!

Safety & Reminders
Cyclists will be asked to stay together for safety and helments are required. There are rest stops planned along each course, coordinated with local stores and residents to ensure cyclists have access to water, snacks and restrooms.

A special thank you to Omer & Bob's, who will be supplying a bike repair station at each rest stop along the way.

Please practice safe cycling measures and obey all traffic laws along the course. We encourage you to wear bright colors and bring a bike kit in case of emergencies.  Remember this is a fun group ride and not a race. Enjoy!
