Team RUN4RYLAND is gathering again for the CHaD HERO on October 22, 2017.  We warmly welcome all participants, veteran and new, to come participate in this fun and powerful event.  All fundraising proceeds go towards critical child and family support services at Children's Hospital at Dartmouth (CHaD), including the Child Life Program, Molly Place, and the Child Advocay and Protection Program.

Back in 2011-2012, Ryland Stout received care at Dartmouth for a Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma, a fatal brain tumor.  The resources available gave Ryland the best care possible for the time that he lived with this most diffuclt diagnosis.  Ryland's family continues to have a close, positive connection with Dartmouth, where they have welcomed the family back for various speaking engagements with staff and students and where, next month, they will be aquiring a second version of Ryland's Wheel, a sculpture created by Ryland's grandfather Walter in his honor.  It has been deeply meanigful to have such opportunities to nurture Ryland's legacy. The CHaD Hero is yet another opportunity to honor Ryland and give back, by enhancing care for all the children who come to Dartmouth for medical treatment  This will be our 6th year particpating!

There are various ways to support the team: come join us in Hanover on 10/22, when you can walk, run, and/or cheer along side fellow teammates.  Or, if you cannot make it in person, consider a donation to the team.  Every amount is important and greatly appreciated.

Many thanks, and Go TEAM!

with love, Jess and Matt Stout
